Why it is priced by length
A long document takes more work to convert than a short one, so it costs more. The bands mean you always know what you will pay before you pay it, and a very long document is capped rather than priced without limit.
Why the first page is free
Converting a PDF well is harder than it looks, and no description of the result is worth as much as seeing it. You get the opening page as a real Word document, at no charge, and decide from there.
If it does not convert
Some PDFs cannot be converted usefully — a scan with no text in it, for instance. When that happens we tell you and there is nothing to pay. You are never charged for a document we could not convert.
GST
Prices include GST for customers in Australia. Sales to customers outside Australia are GST-free exports and carry no GST. The price shown is the price charged either way.
